I produced this interstitial as a Nick Sports production assistant in 2016. The interview had already been shot, but the style was still up in the air. I decided to go for an Eric Andre-esque approach, with graphics, cutaways, and sound effects interrupting the interview to keep viewers on their toes.

The result was successful, and Nick Sports went on to produce many more “Kellin’ It” interstitials with other athletes, all based on this original format.
